Teleclass Waiver and Etiquette Rules.
We will be using EFT as a tool to correct energy disruptions in your energy system that are in the form of negative emotions or negative thoughts. I will work very quickly with some individuals and may not get to all participants during the call. Working quickly allows us to break through the defensive barriers of the subconscious while doing EFT together.
Please familiarize yourself with EFT and the tapping points before becoming part of the teleclasses because I will not be giving instructions on where the EFT points are or how many times to tap. I will use short cuts to EFT so that we can cover as much ground as possible during the time. Click here for informaton on EFT tapping points.
This EFT oriented teleclass is provided as a good faith effort to expand the use of EFT in the world. It represents my ideas and does not necessarily represent those of Gary Craig or EFT.
Important note: I am neither a physician nor a licensed therapist. Neither I nor Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, can accept responsibility for your use of EFT upon yourself or others. Do not stop taking prescribed medication without consulting your physician.
This teleclass may not be suitable for everyone. EFT is powerful and will make changes to your body and your thoughts, therefore if you have any doubts, and particularly if you have been diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder, I strongly recommend that you consult a health care professional before attempting to apply EFT to yourself or participate in EFT teleclasses.
To register for the teleclasses, you MUST read and agree to the Teleclass Waiver and Etiquette Rules below:
WAIVER
I, the participant, understand that EFT is an experimental therapy, and is not meant to replace standard medical and/or mental health counseling. While there have been no documented negative side effects from using EFT when the proper treatment protocols have been followed, this does NOT mean that I will not experience any side effects. By signing up for these teleclasses, and by using these techniques on myself or others, I agree to take full responsibility for my own well being and will advise my clients or other EFT subjects to do the same.I agree to NEVER hold Christine Metawati, the teleclass leader, or Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, or anyone else associated with EFT, liable for any side effects or results from using EFT.
TELECLASS ETIQUETTE
Please respect these teleclass rules of etiquette to ensure a high quality call:
- Use a land telephone for the best phone reception for you and for others in the class. If you must call in from a cell phone or internet phone, please be prepared to either mute yourself or hang up and call back on a different line if you bring an echo or static to the call. Speakerphones are not recommended since they pick up all background noise and can disrupt the call for others. A headset will be useful to you since we will be working with both hands to tap during the call.
- Disable the "Call Waiting" feature on your phone. To do this on most phones, dial *70 before dialing into the teleclass call. After you hang up, your call-waiting feature automatically resumes. However, it’s best to check with your telephone company provider or cell phone company.
- Turn off the ringer to the second line when using a multi-line phone.
- Use the mute feature on your telephone, if you have one, to prevent other callers from hearing background noises. If you don't have a mute button, to mute/unmute during the call: simply press 6 on the number pad.
- Please stay close to the base unit, if you are using a cordless phone. Otherwise, the static can ruin the call for everyone.
- Do not put the teleclass on hold, if your "hold" feature on your phone plays music or other sounds. It’s very difficult to conduct a class over the music or commercials piped in from your hold feature. If you must put the call on hold, please hang up and call back when you are ready to rejoin the call.
- Verify the correct starting time of the class for your time zone. Class times are indicated in Pacific Standard Time. Please be on time so the class can start on time with minimal interruption.
- Announce yourself when you join the teleclass: your name and, if you like, the city you are calling from.
- Please hold your questions/comments until you've been prompted to ask a question or invited to comment by the teleclass leader. Please keep your comments/questions concise.
- Please do not give out the teleclass phone numbers and PIN codes to others who aren't registered. There is limited space on the bridge lines and if others join us illegitimately and max out the number of callers allowed on the teleclass, they can knock you or someone else who has paid off the line.
- You may not record the teleclass. It's illegal unless everyone has given you their permission. A teleclass is also an intellectual property. If Christine is recording a class, she will let you know in the beginning of the teleclass. If you participate in a teleclass that is recorded, the recording will be available for your listening at no extra cost. If you choose to participate on a recorded teleclass, you give permission to Christine Metawati to repackage and resell these sessions.
Many thanks for observing these guidelines so everyone can participate and learn as much as possible from the teleclasses. You can call in between 5-10 minutes before the call begin.
WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR A TELECLASS, IT MEANS YOU HAVE READ AND AGREED TO THE TELECLASS WAIVER AND ETIQUETTE RULES ABOVE. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
After your registration for the teleclass, you will receive the teleclass phone number and PIN code a few days before the call.
If you do not receive the phone number and PIN code 3 days before the scheduled teleclass, it means your server is bouncing my emails! Call me at (510) 332-1463 or email me at christine@mettacenter.com and ask for the numbers.
